Gastrovia

Gastrovia is an original character design and worldbuilding project that fuses the danger and grit of monster hunting with the rich culture and aesthetics of global cuisine. Set in a universe where culinary-inspired beasts roam the land and guilds battle for rare ingredients, the story follows a group of monster hunters, the Iron Feasts—Shpherds Paladin, Mole Enchantress, Churrasco Kickboxer, Sashimis Samurai, and a Gumbo Gatlinger, as they navigate betrayal, corruption, and survival.

 

This project explores stylized design through two illustrated lineup of characters, personalized props, and food-monster companion, with strong emphasis on cultural fusion, storytelling through costume, and fantasy food logic. Drawing inspiration from global food traditions, fine dining, and street markets, The Iron Feasts presents a whimsical yet gritty universe full of flavor and fight.
